The Taichung City Fire Equipment Professionals Association held a seminar on fire lighting technology to promote industry-academia collaboration between academia and practice.

RED BRIDGE Industrial Co., Ltd. co-organized a seminar on fire-fighting lighting technology, hosted by the Taichung City Fire Equipment Professionals Association. The seminar focused on combining academic knowledge with practical applications and promoting industry-academia collaboration.

The core objective of this seminar was to integrate academic research with practical operation, drive innovation and development in fire-fighting lighting technology, and strengthen close cooperation between industry and academia.

RED BRIDGE Industrial Co., Ltd. provided the following three practical and simulation courses at the seminar:

1. Practical Operating System for Digital Testing of Lighting Fixtures: These lighting fixtures feature a digital system that automatically records and displays key parameters such as battery charging voltage, current, energy consumption, and temperature, improving the accuracy of fire-fighting lighting fixture testing.

2. Simulated Classroom: Simulating the Differences Between Wall-Mounted and Recessed Lighting Fixtures in Real-World Application Scenarios: The classroom simulated the lighting effects of lighting fixtures in real-world application scenarios. Through the simulated classroom and on-site testing, participants could understand the differences in horizontal and vertical illuminance between different series of lighting fixtures and provide suggestions for improvement and innovation.

3. Integrating Sphere Testing of Lumen Values: The integrating sphere provided by Hongqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. is a commonly used device for lighting testing. This test accurately measures the lumen value of luminaires, ensuring their luminous flux meets standard requirements.

The seminar provided a platform for academic and industry professionals to share knowledge and experience. Participants learned and discussed the latest fire-fighting lighting technologies through hands-on digital testing of luminaires, a simulation classroom, and integrating sphere testing provided by Hongqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. They shared their practical experience and research insights and explored how industry-academia collaboration can advance fire-fighting lighting technology.

Representatives of the Taichung City Fire Equipment Professionals Association stated that the successful holding of this seminar and the co-organization and support of Hongqiao Industrial Co., Ltd. will promote the integration of academia and practice and drive the development of industry-academia collaboration. They encouraged industry professionals and academia to continue in-depth cooperation to jointly promote the innovation and application of fire-fighting lighting technology. Through such collaborative efforts, fire-fighting lighting technology will be continuously improved, bringing higher-level refuge and escape lighting solutions to society.
